Odisha at the Heart of the Cyclone; Dalmia Bharat Urges Call of Action

Cyclone Fani is the first summer tropical storm to hit Bay of Bengal coast in 43 years.

Dalmia Bharat Group as its continued commitment towards building communities has come out in full support of the Odisha State Government and authorities for the rehabilitation of affected people in the State of Odisha, post-Cyclone Fani.

Given that food and shelter are the basic requirements, the organisation has set up a kitchen in Puri for supplying fresh food to the affected people in the city. Given the need, a team from the company’s Kapilas unit has been stationed in Puri and has set up a kitchen in the region. Meals and fresh food is being cooked and served to at least 10,000 people on a daily basis. The group also continues to reaffirm commitment to the State of Odisha through sustainable rehabilitation efforts.
